So for Justine's birthday Dad and I took a trip to Cedar City to help her celebrate. We enjoyed eating at the Pizza factory. The next day we went out and she took us to St. George to climb the Red Rocks above Dixie. It was a very hot day! It was well over 100 degrees. Justine wanted us to experience "The Crack". We finally found it after searching for a while. It was a very narrow crack that headed slightly uphill. Justine led the way with me next but when Ron started in he couldn't turn his head from side to side so he felt he would get stuck so he decided to climb up on top and take pictures. It was a lot cooler int the crack, it took us about 10 minutes to navigate through. Boy did we enjoy the yogurt at Munchies afterwards!!!

Thanks for the memories, we love you Justine!

So I learned how to warp photos. I just couldn't resist posting this sample I made. These two girls are so beautiful, but this photo change made me laugh and laugh! Sorry girls, but thanks for the smile in my day! Dad thinks Justine belongs in a Wallace and Gromit movie!

My sweet Justine shared her talent with us of how well she can gleek. For those of you who are not aware of what the fine art of Gleeking is, it is where the saliva glands under your tongue squirt saliva out. For those who have refined this talent, as Justine has, you open your mouth and let it shoot across the room. I can't believe she has been hiding this talent!

Justine goes to Prom

Justine was asked by a long time friend and neighbor Nathan Hoggan to go to prom. He asked her on a weekend when she was very sick with the flue and a cold. He sent a first-aid box with some medicine and some get well items. He included a pill bottle with some tick-tacks which she had to dump out and find letters which spelled his name. Way cute idea! She answered back by buying his a large pizza with the word YES spelled out in pepperoini's. Nathans dad came over a minute before he arrived to take pictures with us. Afterall they are our good friends. They had a full day of activites. Nate picked her up for breakfast and a movie. Then he dropped her off for a couple of hours and then it was off for pictures, dinner another movie and then the dance.

For our Fall Break we took a family mini vacation for one day. First we headed to the Discovery Gateway then hopped over to the Clark Planetarium where we saw two shows. Then we went to the Lion House Pantry for a yummy lunch and a tour of the Beehive house. Then it was off to the Living Planet Aquarium to pet the sting rays. Then to finish off the day we visisted Thanksgiving Points Dinosaur Museum. It was quite a fun day!

Labor Day

On Labor Day we had a family picnic with the whole family including Jeanette. It was great to have the family together again. After dinner the kids played a game of Bocce ball. Then we all played 4-square. Andrew had never played before but he soon cought on and was soon the King of the square! He does play a good round of pac-man that really gets Meilin laughing. The evening ended with chalk drawings on the front walkway, a fun remembrance of the evining. Only bad thing it rained during the night and it was gone before morning.
