My family-Fredricksons

This is another page to my personal scrapbook.  I just got copies of a bunch of pictures of me from my mom from when I was young.  It has been fun looking and remembering my life in so many pictures that my dad took over the years of our family.  This is the first photo of me an my siblings in a family picture.  I love the pictures of my parents they are so young!  My mom is a beauty and my dad so handsome!

Siblings

I have been taking a class online to help me with my digital scrap booking skills.  It is a year-long class that gives me monthly assignments.  By the time the year is finished I should have a somewhat completed history of my self.  This is one of my latest pages that I made up of my siblings.  It has been a bit of a challenge doing pages all about me.  I much rather enjoy making pages up about others.  But this one was pretty fun because I got to write about my wonderful older brother and sister. Sure love em!

The journaling on the page reads:
It was nice growing up with siblings like you!
-You were someone to SHOW me the way....Like golfing in the
back yard, and how not to break the picture glass window in the kitchen.
-You were someone to teach me how to LOVE unconditionally....like pretending your feet were animals for me to play with so I would cuddle and kiss them.
-You were someone to TEACH me how to clean properly....like how to clean out your drawers and if you find a stray bullet, you don't place it where you throw something heavy on top so it explodes and you end up all bloody.

-You were someone to teach me by EXAMPLE....like don't go to
the swimming pool if your swimming suit top is not tied on properly.
-You were someone to show me how to SACRIFICE....like giving up two years of your life to serve the Lord on a mission.
-You were someone who always SHARED with me....like after seeing a play you loved you got the record, cut stick figures from magazines and reenacted the entire play for me.
You were the best older brother and sister a little girl
could ask for.  Thanks for being that SOMEONE
special for me.

Rexaroni

OH MY GOSH! Can I just tell you how much I love this little guy?!? I get to spend three days a week tending this cute little bundle of joy. Rex is such a good little baby. I have heard how much fun being a grandma is and now I know first hand. WOW! It is amazing. I take tonz of pictures of him to share with the rest of the family when they get home so they can experience all his cuteness too. I just have to take a minute to brag a bit! One thing that gets me laughing at Rex is his eyebrows. He is so expressive with them. He will get his little serious face where he scrunches up his little brow and then suddenly raise one eyebrow up really high. It makes me laugh every time.
Can't help but smile when you see this guy smilin' back atcha

Labor Day

Our Labor day started out with our annual family bike ride up the Provo River trail. It was slightly overcast so it was excellent weather for a ride. Spencer was able to join us for the first hour before he had to turn back to head back to work. We rode from Utah Lake to the Shopco on the diagnal for a total of 12 miles.

Meilin and Mom on the bridge where we turned around. We then headed to Maceys for Icecream cones! Yum! Yum.

Shrotly after this Mitchell crashed into a young father with his child. Both were ok, but it was Mitchell's second crash of the day, poor guy!
After lunch at Burger King it was off to the Spanish Fork Airport to go flying with Jourdan! What fun! This was our first chance to see him in action and fly with Him.

Mitchell thought it was "Totally AWSOME!!!" Meilin giggled the whole flight and Dad got to fly to Provo airport and do a touch and go with Jourdan. Upon returning the weather started to get windy so Mom's ride had to be postponed. (Darn!) It was the highlight of the day! Thanks Jourdan!

Rons work Party

For Rons work Party this year we got to take the family to Park City and play! Sadly to say everyone was gone either to a camp or trip so Meilin was our only child for the day. We had lots of fun! We rode the Alpine slide, Mountain rollercoaster, played miniture golf and had a great lunch. We were able to ride the rides as many times as we wanted. It was great fun!
