A living Legacy

A historical moment occurred as we paused to take a 5 generation photo. With the birth of Rex, our family continues to grow. This photo to me represents an amazing line of legacy. Our family comes from such amazing people and we continue to see their traits live on in the rising generation. How blessed we are that we know we are an eternal family. I can't imagine missing anyone of them.

Oh the faces you make...

I have started tending little Rexie. I have to say it has worked out great so far. He sleeps mostly and I take pictures of him. Great set-up. He is such a good little baby!

Mitchell get ordained an Elder

Mitchell was so very happy when the day finally arrived for him to receive the Melchisedek Priesthood. It was wonderful because all of his brother, and living grandpa's were able to stand in the circle.

Strange company

Saturday night I sit alone in my house when I heard a knock at my door. I went to see who it was and was met by these two strange characters. Believe or not they did say
"Trick-or-Treat". Meilin and her friend Benj(amin) were having fun dressing up and they came to see if I would recognize them. Fun kids!

Big Smile

So can you tell who my new favorite person to scrap about? Sunday Andrew, Alyse and Rex came over for dinner. Rex slept the entire evening. He is quite the baby to watch while he sleeps. He pulls all sorts of fun faces. He had a captured audience! I held the camera ready every time he smiled. Sweet dreams little Rexie!

Sunday we spent about an hour with Andrew, Alyse and Rex. It was so wonderful to see this sweet little family and how much love this new addition has brought with him. As we were leaving I captured a couple of tender moments of father and son together. Andrew, the proud daddy, had such a happy face. Thanks for the sweet memory!

Labor Day

Our Labor day started out with our annual family bike ride up the Provo River trail. It was slightly overcast so it was excellent weather for a ride. Spencer was able to join us for the first hour before he had to turn back to head back to work. We rode from Utah Lake to the Shopco on the diagnal for a total of 12 miles.

Meilin and Mom on the bridge where we turned around. We then headed to Maceys for Icecream cones! Yum! Yum.

Shrotly after this Mitchell crashed into a young father with his child. Both were ok, but it was Mitchell's second crash of the day, poor guy!
After lunch at Burger King it was off to the Spanish Fork Airport to go flying with Jourdan! What fun! This was our first chance to see him in action and fly with Him.

Mitchell thought it was "Totally AWSOME!!!" Meilin giggled the whole flight and Dad got to fly to Provo airport and do a touch and go with Jourdan. Upon returning the weather started to get windy so Mom's ride had to be postponed. (Darn!) It was the highlight of the day! Thanks Jourdan!
