Justine Graduates!!!!

Well she did it!  Justine graduated from SUU over the weekend.  We are so very proud of her and all her hard work.   We took the treck to Cedar City this weekend to attend her graduation ceremony.

See the very cool medal around her neck?  That means she graduated with honors.  She graduated in the top of her class with a 3.9 GPA, Suma Cum Laude. Such a smartie pants!

After graduation we stopped off at Bryce Canyon National Park on the way home.  It was a beautiful place.
 Check out the colors.
Hiking back up the canyon was tiring work!  It was a short stop but it was so great to see some of God's great creations.

Spring is Coming!???

We keep hoping that spring is coming to Utah soon!  We took the opportunity to go to Sunny Arizona to visit Jourdan and Mindy.  We did find the sun there!
Our first stop was Hoover Dam.  We were amazed by the bridge over the Dam, such a structural masterpiece!

 It was a long drive!
But we made it!  Jourdan and Mindy have a great place.  Mindy has done a great job decorating it.  We need to hold a contest to guess how many temple pictures they have hanging in their home.....any guesses?
Jourdan came home and I had to take a picture of him in his uniform.
Meilin and I enjoy sharing a bed together, cuz the boys in the room could sure snore!

Of course the pool at the hotel was great!  Spencer and Meilin had fun swimming.

We had Easter dinner with Bryant and Taryn.  As you can tell  Addison loved her chocolate bunny!

Meilin enjoyed being with all the cousins!

It was great being with family and Bryant and Taryn were so great to let us all drop in and feed us all.

One evening we went out to dinnner at a great Barb-B-Q place!  The food was great!

But we loved the company better.

We went to the SanDiego Zoo.  We saw some strange pretty !

Cameron and Carson talking to a friendly gorilla, or maybe it's more like a privitive form of sign language.

After to Zoo we went back to Jourdan and Mindy's apartment  and had a cookout and a swim in their pool.  Catch the cool shot of Emmerson falling into the pool.

Food, folks and fun....it doens't get better than this.

The whole trip was only 5 days.  Two on the road and three to play, but we loved it!  Thanks Jourdan and Mindy for letting us come and stay.  It just seams like we just get started and before you know it, comes the time to say good-bye!

We loved all the cactus along the drive, so we just had to stop and take a picture.

Ward talent night

Our ward had a talent night.  Ron was able to rock out with some of the guys in the ward singing a 50's song.  He had the doo-oop part!  Gotta luv that guy when he sings!

So it's been a while since I have posted.  BUT I hoping to do better!
So the big thing at our house is that Meilin cut her hair!  Yes folks 15 inches!  She donated it to Locks-of-Love.  She keeps playing with her hair and saying "Its so short!"  Yes compared to what it was it IS short!  She looks adorable with her new bob.

I have been trying to play catch up on some old photos and scrap them.  It seams that it is never done!  I just keep taking pictures!  In the fall we took a week trip to San Deago.  Alyse and Rex came with us!  We were able to be right on the beach!  It was an amazing trip.  We loved spending time with the Picketts and the Smiths.
There was a peer right by our house.  It was nice and long.  People fished off of it and there were plenty of Seaguls.  Rex loved chasing them along the peer.
One afternoon all the girls loaded up into the car and went and did baptisms at the San Deago Temple.  We then met and toured the Mormon Batalian visitors center.  It was amazing!  I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.  So worth your time.
The highlight of course was the beach.  We loved it!
Rex wasn't too sure that he liked the waves.

 The sunsets were wonderful!
One of the best things were the sea shells!  So many of them!  We had so much fun collecting them and looking at all the different kinds.  The hard thing was deciding what ones to keep.
The Pink Dolphin was where we stayed.  Yes it was Pink!
Bryant took quite the tumble in a wave that smashed him to the ocean floor.  He had a big scab the rest of the trip.  Poor guy!
Judy taught us how to dig for sand crabs.  That was new to me.  Good thing we had some locals to teach us about the beach.
